Great, GOD IS LEADING THE WAY

Got the lab results for the blood chem, liver profile, HIV, and other lab tests of our new donor (Ronnie's cousin). GREAT, no problem. Indeed, GOD IS LEADING THE WAY. We have to prepare him for the next lab work-ups.

GOD IS REALLY AMAZING!

We have found a new match.

A cousin of the same blood type and willing to donate part of his liver to JC.
God is truly amazing...HE is guiding us all the time...LEADING THE WAY!!!
We are now preparing Ronnie's cousin Jasper for the new lab tests.
Thanks a lot Jasper. You are indeed a LIFE-SAVER!

The sad news

Got the bad news the other day....the doctor said that my husband Ronnie is not fit to be a donor for JC's liver transplant. It showed in the series of tests done to him. Sadly, we need to find another donor from the members of our family. I can not be a donor myself because we do not have the same blood type. Another trial testing our strength to continue fighting and winning this battle. It is truly unfortunate because   a lot of laboratory work-ups  was done already  to JC and Ronnie in preparation for the transplant. Indeed so sad....but we have to move on...move forward...and create a positive outlook on this matter.

It is really very sad, I am beginning to get weak

Got the sad news. The doctor said that my husband Ronnie is not fit to become a donor for JC's liver transplant. There's a problem also with his liver. But we are not losing hope, yes, Mr. Carlos is correct, we need to face these trials, our low points positively. We need to do something about it.But the news is making me weak. Dear Lord, help us overcome this difficulty.

How do we cope with difficult times?

June 15
...remarks of regret

Just came from a whole day follow up to some popular people from different offices of the government. Hmmmm.....well...kinda sad because all I got was a lot of remarks of regret. No funds for such kind of operation, not connected with the hospital, budget allocations not intended for biliary atresia babies. But I am indeed truly not giving up with this battle. I know that there are a lot of people out there who are compassionate, understanding and kind. I just need to find them. Experiencing a lot of difficult times these days but that reality makes me even stronger to face all the trials that may come our way and hinder our drive to succeed.
Thanks to Sir Darwin for the persuasion and support and to all those friends and members of the family who keep on believing that NOTHING IS TRULY IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS WORLD....WITH THE HELP OF OUR LORD ALMIGHTY!

...how do we cope with this difficulty?

Just having difficult times raising funds for JC's liver transplant because I recently received a lot of regret remarks from the offices of famous people from the government...
-they can't help because they lack funds
-they can't help because the operation is to be done outside our country
-they can't help because the amount that we need is so huge
-etc...etc..
But this make our family even more hopeful and stronger because we know that there are still people out there...the compassionate ones who can still help us in getting the amount needed for the transplant cost. We just have to keep the faith in God. We just have to have real faith and do not stop looking for charitable people. God will lead the way!

Still having difficulty fund raising

Still having difficulty raising funds.
But I know that God is with us all the time.
He will help us and guide our effort always.

Got the results of the other lab tests

Got the result from the other lab tests of JC.
Ultra sound showed that there is something wrong with JC's spleen. It is getting swollen. It's remarkably big. Blood chem results  showed some signs that he really needs to have the transplant soon. Ronnie is also having the laboratory work-ups now in preparation for being the donor. JC is scheduled on Tuesday for another blood test. Hoping that the results would be okay.
