Glimpses of Our Struggle...A Call for Help

May 13, 2009

...We need help

Good day friends...My youngest son Jan Ciryl Tiburcio has a very rare liver ailment called "biliary atresia"...he needs liver transplant in order to live. It is a condition where the liver does not have enough bile ducts and as a result the bile builds up within and destroying his liver. You may visit the website of Lift-Babies Foundation Inc-Philippines for more information about the disease. Pediatric liver transplants can be done at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Kaohsiung Taiwan, at the Glen Eagles Hospital in Singapore, or at the Queen Mary Hospital in HongKong at a cost ranging from 4 to 7 million pesos. We can not afford such huge amounts that is why we appeal for your compassion. Please help us raise money for the transplant. Any amount you can contribute will help ensure my son's survival. I am begging all of you. For donations please deposit at any Winbank branch...account name Eloisa Tiburcio, account number 008-20-001992-6 or any PNB branch with account number 498-583078-4.
Thanks our address is Isla, Valenzuela City, Philippines.

...thank God

Our family had just learned that we only need P3 million to have the transplant at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan...thanks to the Carlos Family for the information...PCSO and First Hand Foundation's help as God is truly there to help us...our family only needs to raise only about a million pesos!

Thus, I appeal to everybody's charity and compassion...our family is almost there to win the battle!

...experiencing difficulties

Our family is still having difficulty of whose doctor will provide our recent clinical abstract.
I was wondering why we're having difficulty to get it. That document will help us to get the assistance we need. At this point, we'll try to get the abstract from our previous gastroentorologist, our gastroentorologist we consulted way before year 2003.

...i know we can make it

JC is scheduled for a lot of lab tests today as well as my husband Ronnie.

Hope we'd get what we need today!
To those people who are helping us in different ways...thanks a lot.
I know God is there to shower you with more blessings.
